John 15:1-17 is full of powerful words of Jesus that show His Grace and Truth. As a recap to our 5 part series on Grow, we look at the main point of the text, growing in Christ, means we have to abide in Him. Jesus Himself, said apart from Him, we can do nothing …That includes growing fruit. The term for abide in the Greek, is the word menw, and is used 120 times in the New Testament. John uses this term to relate to a new permanent home. Christ doesn’t just want to live in us, He wants us to live in Him too.
The challenge for every generation is,
Do we believe and live out the word of the Lord? Or do we live by the message of the world?
#We need to connect the gospel to the way we LIVE – Colossians 4:6, 1st Corinthians 8:1-13, Revelation 7:9,10
